Pegeia (Cyprus) – April 2022

On the 28^th and 29^th of april, the international conference Discover our Europe was held in Pegeia, Cyprus.  

The event of the conference was based on local concerns as the discussions focused on the Cyrpus situation and the welcoming of migrants and refugees according to their different situations. It also focused on how to avoid discrimination and how to work towards a better integration of migrants and refugees. These debates echoed the war in Ukraine ; the conference presented the European Comission’s plan for a stronger coordination on welcoming people fleeing the war.
